19. Create Folders

Google Classroom creates folders in Google Drive. What once was a cumbersome process in Google Drive is now automatic. The teacher and each student will find a “Classroom” folder in Google Drive. In the “Classroom” folder, the teacher has a folder for each assignment. Student work can be accessed from Google Classroom or directly from the folders in Google Drive.

To make access easy, Google Classroom also provides links to the Google Drive folders. A link to the class folder is located on the class tile on the Home page. In the grading view of each assignment in Google Classroom is a link to the specific assignment folder in Google Drive.
